In 2013 we reached 75% and in 2008 80% (http://www.ilsole24ore.com/speciali/2018/elezioni/risultati/politiche/retrospettivi/italia.shtml http://www.ilsole24ore.com/speciali/2018/elezioni/risultati/...), so it was seen before. Still, given this election was one day only, it's an impressive result.
