PSPDFKit CTO here, we shipped a WebAssembly build of our Web SDK last year. With it all of the PDF loading, rendering and saving happens in-browser.
I'm personally massively bullish on WebAssembly - hopefully SharedArrayBuffer gets re-enabled soon.
