I can root my phone and monitor outgoing traffic. If I unplug my smart speaker it’s a brick with zero functionality. I have a range of options with my phone, I have binary options with an Echo or similar device.
- dpark 9y agoYou can root your phone and believe you’re monitoring outgoing traffic. Your phone hardware could easily be surreptitiously sending data over 4G and you would likely be unable to verify. Also why do you imagine that an echo is fundamentally unable to be rooted?
