Is this Verlag related to the academic publisher / rent seeker, Springer Verlag?
- thesimon 9y agoPartially, the parent company is part of the SpringerNature joint venture.
- greenyoda 9y ago"Verlag" just means "publishing company" in German.[1] There are probably many publishers in Germany that have that word in their name. [1] https://translate.google.com/#de/en/Verlag https://translate.google.com/#de/en/Verlag
- pgeorgi 9y agoVerlag means "publisher", it's not part of a name. (There are two publishers going by "Springer" though, you were referring to J. Springer, not A. Springer)
