We didn't choose, we just didn't prevent. However, the impact was much greater than we had imagined. The sense of responsibility increased my work efficiency (income) at least five fold, the affection bound us all together like nothing else ever did before, and brought out the parental qualities I never thought I had inside me. ...and after two years, the second one is on the way... :)
