An FDIC for malpractice suits is an interesting idea. Is there anything comparable to this in universal healthcare systems like the NHS?
- arkades 9y agoYes, France has this as the national scale, and we have something similar for certain federally-qualified facilities aimed at low-income communities. In our case, they need to maintain an ongoing, federally audited QA/QI program, but as long as they meet those requirements any malpractice suits get redirected to a federal malpractice policy.
