Well, I certainly didn't expect this to make the front page.
I just wish the guestbook still worked. :)
I hadn't looked at the site in years and was actually surprised to find it still running. It's been on the same free hosting site for about 20 years.
- noonespecial 9y agoI tried to sign it! You should consider reviving it. Write it in perl. And lets us know its working again with a blink tag.
- freefal 9y ago<blink><marquee> Updated! </marquee></blink>
- tehlike 9y agohttp://www.montulli.org/theoriginofthe<blink>tag http://www.montulli.org/theoriginofthe<blink>tag The history of blink :) good ol' days
- rpeden 9y agoI just updated it with a guestbook that works. :) First update the site has seen in 19 years.
- shakna 9y agoAnd everyone is already trying to break it.
- amatecha 9y agoYeah I wrote my own guestbook with Perl in the late 90's and it lasted the entire life of the sites I used it on. Perl is great for stuff like that and it's supported by all kinds of hosting environments!
- athenot 9y agoThe funny part is that even though the blink tag is gone, it can be reimplemented in CSS. :)
- giarc 9y agoI clicked on the FreeServers ad... hopefully you get paid :)
- rpeden 9y agoIt's free hosting from the 90s, so no money for me! They inject that ad in exchange for hosting the site. Hopefully they're getting their money's worth today.
