Where did Red Bull exist in 92'?
Dang...wikipedia says it came out in 87'. I can't recall energy drinks before ~2003.
- darrenf 9y agoIn all honesty I got at least two details wrong, I now realise; it was 1995, and Pro-Plus caffeine tablets.
- pacaro 9y agoI remember being surprised when I first regularly visited in 99 that red bull wasn’t well known in the US; it was readily available in the UK at that time.
- nine_k 9y agoCoca-Cola was the original energy drink, with cocaine, caffeine, theobromine, and sugar. It lost cocaine in 1915, though.
- grkvlt 9y agoI remember Jolt Cola [0] which was a super-caffienated cola drink, which I drank in the late 80s/early 90s when it was available in the UK (at least I found it in Edinburgh and Glasgow) from a few select delis that did US imports. Apparently a hacker staple in the USA, which is why we searched for it here... 0. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jolt_Cola https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jolt_Cola
