- markdown 9y agoThey could have registered the domain in the name of a legal entity registered in a state like Wyoming where company directors can remain anon. Basically shielded behind lawyers and shell corporations.

- celticninja 9y agoYou could pay in bitcoin and give fake details too, however if you get your domain stolen proving your ownership becomes difficult.
