Ask HN: How do you manage your open source contributor identity?

For those of you who contribute to open source projects as part of your employment, how do you manage your identity? Do you have a separate identity for each of your employers or do you maintain only one that you continue to reuse from job to job? What are the reasons behind your approach? (possibly legal reasons, ability to show case, etc.?)
