Electricity demand in the US, that is. Where is the global perspective?
- spenrose 9y agoThere isn't a"global" perspective on this, just a country-by-country perspective, because utilities are governed by national law. See Quitting Carbon for what a really aggressive attempt to transform Denmark's electric grid looks like: https://justingerdes.atavist.com/quitting-carbon?promo https://justingerdes.atavist.com/quitting-carbon?promo
- rsynnott 9y agoGlobally, demand is going up, dramatically. It's generally falling in advanced industrialised countries, though.
- spenrose 9y agoI don't think of < 10% / year as "dramatic", but YMMV: https://yearbook.enerdata.net/electricity/electricity-domestic-consumption-data.html https://yearbook.enerdata.net/electricity/electricity-domest...
