My firm’s factory switched to LED lighting in 20016 and, as projected, we’re already in the black. Provided MTBF rates are as expected, we’ll be in the black permanently. We’re saving up to 60% of our lighting costs (including capital expenses).
- matt_wulfeck 9y agoApproximately how much were you spending on traditional versus LED lighting? Also, what’s your electricity cost? Here in the Bay Area my costs are approximately 30c kWh so energy saving are quickly and easily net positive.
- qubex 9y agoI don’t think I can disclose that, but I’m in Italy so it’s probably not very comparable.
