This is interesting. The descriptions in the article also seem to describe what may be identified as social anxiety disorder. I wonder how those two diagnoses differ?
- kosma 9y agoWith ASD, social ineptitude doesn't go away when anxiety is sorted out. Autistic people usually have it the other way round: it's their ineptitude that inevitably causes anxiety due to repeated failures.
- gt_ 9y agoWell said. I think this particular mixup makes for a lot of extra confusion on the part of people trying to understand ASD.
