It's not exactly the same but some futures exchanges offer crypto futures for Bitcoin and Etherium. They're cash settled though.
That's really nice because at least you don't have appreciable risk from the exchange itself when you use CFE from your usual broker.
- sitepodmatt 9y agoYou kind of do have some risk that doens't exist in trading normal equities etc.., there's usually an unexpected drop in BTC price once a bitcoin exchange hack is frontpaged.
- Blackthorn 9y agoThere's plenty of risk inherent in Bitcoin itself, but at least with Bitcoin futures there isn't the risk of the exchange itself just running off with your money or your goods (as has happened many, many times in the history of Bitcoin).
