You don't get rejected out of hand for not being authorized to work in the USA currently.
- fooker 9y agoSure you do. Google, Apple and Facebook (and virtually every company in the Bay Area) have all stopped trying to get H1Bs for new grads with degrees from outside the US. Microsoft is the exception for now.
