Technology Review decided to go full New Scientist 20 years ago. It's entertaining sometimes, but not a reliable source for the state of a research field.
- philipkglass 9y agoWhen did New Scientist itself go full New Scientist? I've stumbled across New Scientist articles from the 1970s when performing searches on Google Books and it reads like a completely different publication.
- AlexCoventry 9y agoI don't know. I didn't start to pay attention until the late 80s or so.
