contracts can be breached and damages paid when it is a more favourable outcome [1]. I doubt he was suggesting anything that would undermine the rule of law, though.

- jacques_chester 9y agoThe point is that reputation is important if you wish to form contracts in future. Doubly so if you already have the aces of hearts, diamonds, spades and especially clubs up your sleeve.
