Some passwords I need to memorise (e.g. the logon password for my primary machine), and others need to be input on devices where long, strong passwords would be unduly cumbersome (e.g. my Xbox/PSN accounts are never going to get the same strength I use elsewhere because typing long, mixed case + symbols passwords on a controller is a nightmare).
