Agreed. I'm sure some people think you're being petty but we've wandered way too far into this ultra defensive language on the internet. I think it's a habit formed from the toxic behavior of people responding to you to try to pin you on some stupid detail, like pointing out that there are exceptions to some uncontroversial statement you made that was only 1% of the point of your post.
