I guess, if you are cool with sharing the images when you need to share the environment. I think I just never liked the "bulk" that comes with Docker, though it has gotten better.
I think Docker is cool in general but for other stuff than this specific use-case.
- jordic 9y agoi use docker for all the related services.. postgres, redis, solr, zeo... but i use virtualenv and pip. I also use setup.py for declaring entrypoints and coordinate all the services (i don't like too much the docker compose aproach). also i'm using docker.py and boto3 for the devops part.
