No data, but my suspicion is that Waze expects you to speed more. If Waze drivers on average are more aggresive, they're predictions might be accurately tuned for them.
- Bedon292 9y agoThat actually seems like quite a reasonable assumption. Knowing the normal speeds on the roads in my area, vs the speed limits, the difference in time between Google and Waze predictions seem to support that.
- sgc 9y agoI think google maps learns from your driving habits and predicts accordingly. Just a hunch based on my personal experience.
