- placebo 9y agoI think at the right dosage, it's welcome. For me, mild doses of good humour upgrade the most serious of discussions without detracting from their professionalism.

- andrewflnr 9y agoI've gotten loooots of upvotes from basically joke comments. HN doesn't like all humor, but if it's actually clever, it'll work.
- always_good 9y agoHumor does fine on HN. Just be wary of conveniently blaming the community when your jokes flop. ;)
