Ask HN: Finding interesting projects to work?
So, I don't like opensource projects because most of the projects I've been involved working with big data. It involves handling data reliably, efficiently, securely and doing this all within strict limits. Opensource isn't offering me this kind of opportunity to set up a system which consumes tons of data and new challenges keep popping.

Now, we've projects which are bringing in good money. So, we switched from working for money to working for fun.
We operate mostly in ad tech. What do you recommend?

I would love to see another attempt at a privacy-respecting ad network, kinda like what The Deck ( http://decknetwork.net http://decknetwork.net ) used to be, or what Read The Docs is doing ( http://docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ethical-advertising.html http://docs.readthedocs.io/en/latest/ethical-advertising.htm... ). I think there is still money to be made advertising quality products especially if you are efficient (so your company's overheads are very low).
