Rust on Linux with Cassandra, the strong typing without a GC is a boon to stability and performance (my own sanity). Cassandra is fantastic, looking forward to using Scylla at some point.
- jxub 9y agoWould you mind if I asked what type of application do you have that needs the kind of write performance? Also, are there any Rust drivers for Scylla? This stack looks awesome in terms of pure perf.
- bfrog 9y agoAds (matching, serving, recording analytics), Scylla uses the same protocol Cassandra does. I've been using the CDRS crate which is pretty nice. It has a few rough spots that I've started to smooth over and send PRs for when I get a chance.
