- knieveltech 9y agoMcCarthyist talking points on body counts? 45,000 Americans die annually from preventable illness due to lack of access to healthcare. ~200,000 Americans die annually from poverty-related causes. Meanwhile the US military and CIA are responsible for ~30 million deaths worldwide since WWII. Assuming the McCarthyite propaganda around Holodomor is accurate, it pales in comparison.
