I hate to be rude but I googled for a ping tax and maybe it's because I live in Australia, but all I can find is the ato answering questions about ping-pong tables and otherwise random economics subjects from china that use the word ping (eg: "Ping insurance", Gui Ping Wu).
I can't find anything specific to women.
- benmmurphy 9y agoI'm guessing they meant pink tax. They might not be a native English speaker so didn't pick up on the mistake.
- shard972 9y agoAh that does it. Yea i think the issue is that google knows im australian so it doesn't correct the mistake where the americans it's a big talking point. And since we are more closely related to asian happenings, it decided to not correct it due to the misspelling being an asian name :P
