- solipsism 9y agoI realize it's attractive to characterize backward, dysfunctional societies as primitive and our own practices as evolved, but it's not nearly as simple as that. Child rape being common in one fucked up society does not point to it being common in the hunter/gatherer tribes of our ancestors.
