i think the most obvious example is probably impossible for you to fix. when i press c to replace a word, then navigate to the next instance of the same word and press period, it types each letter individually, including my typos and backspaces over the typos. i know you guys are just interfacing with the vscode api so there's some things you simply can't do, like skipping over folded code when navigating with j/k.
