Poll: After Startup School - [SF] Hacker Launch Party or [PA] StartupHappyDevHouse

10 points by gibsonf1 19y ago

We've been planning to have some Hacker News readers over to our office to enjoy some free beer to celebrate our limited beta launch (finally!). We noticed that StartupHappyDevHouse is also scheduling an event right after startup school that looks interesting, so we're thinking of changing the date (or postponing the party until the unlimited beta launch). Please let us know if we should go for the party or the hacking - we're game either way. [1] http://streamfocus.com/about [2] http://superhappydevhouse.org/SuperHappyDevHouse24dot5

DevHouse is always worth it. Postpone your party so you can attend! http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/472612/ http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/472612/

At a 3 to 1 ratio (currently), it looks like we'll be seeing y'all at the StartupHappyDevHouse :) Unlimited Beta Launch Party TBA later

I was going to go to the party. Maybe next time. :)

Sorry about that rms. Given your distant location, will you get a chance to stop by (if even briefly) at devhouse?

Yeah, I'll come to wherever the people are.

Did we really choose a hackathon over free beer?

SHDH usually has free beer. We'll try to have enough.

We'll bring some extras just in case :)

I guess this probably isn't the type of crowd where I could convince people to do shots of 200 proof...

Is the devhouse open to all? I'm not the best of hackers, so I'm not sure how I'd fit in with the vibe.

  It's a very open event.
