This seems to me like an incredibly good example, and I've no idea why people would be downvoting it. The GP programming / technical examples are potentially easier for the reader to think "well sometimes I'd want to break that rule because X", whereas this example makes it obvious, and brings up "setting yourself up to succeed".

- rdiddly 9y agoThanks, yeah the point is to use discipline further upstream. Use discipline once at the outset to permanently avoid influences that require discipline over and over again.
