The article talks a lot about risk-taking, and the cultural/societal reasons that men take more risks than women. That's definitely true of this community - entrepreneurship has more risk-taking than nearly any other field (excepting things like the military). That, plus it definitely "gratifies one's intellectual curiosity." Seems relevant to me.
