Is the difference between Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimi Hendrix measurable by "rhythm, melody, pitch discrimination" and whatever methodology they used to quantify these variables? It's like measuring computer scientists ability by how quickly they can implement binary search. EDIT: it is interesting that musical practice doesn't change those abilities. But I think the title of the article is misleading and grasping.
