Facebook Locks Out User After Verifying Passport
- nikolay 9y agoMy daughter got locked out several times. After doing webcam picture, passport, and many other verifications, it took more than three months until her account stabilized. She was getting locked out a few days after her account got "approved." I honestly wonder what kind of joke of a system these bastards have! At the same time, daily I get "friend" requests by several fake accounts. In other words, Facebook does a great jobs stopping legit users, but cares less about fakes as those inflate the size of their userbase greatly! In fact, I know many who were forced to create 2-3 new accounts, because they kept getting locked out!
- ozfive 9y agoFunny thing. I just went to the link location and twitter gave me a notice that it took too long to load. I tried hitting retry and the next message was you have been rate limited try again later. When will these companies realize that locking people out temporarily or permanently make giant waves in the future. People get upset when there isn't enough explanation or they somehow get made to feel like a criminal for doing something as simple as hit a reload button. I stopped using twitter when I saw how many people were being censored by having messages disappear with no explanation. Mark my words the things these companies are doing now will have massive effect on their business in the future.
