This is an interesting way to report HTTPS usage.
Why are Android and Windows grouped together and why are Chrome OS and Mac OS grouped together?
- fooey 9y agoclaiming 68% of traffic is https is far different from claiming 68% of sites are https too I suspect the vast majority of sites are still not https, but the big sites are which skews that number
- dingo_bat 9y agoThat's ok but what the OP was getting at is the strange OS grouping.
- testplzignore 9y agoMy guess is that it was just a way to keep the message simple and not have too many numbers to distract the reader. The numbers for each pairing were probably conveniently close together, so combining them cut out two bullet points from an already very short blog post.
