Anyone have a clue what the 'thunderbolt'/'thunderboot' driver is? Almost seems like they have proprietary thunderbolt cables for developing this or something?

- ea016 9y agoSome macs have the ability to load OSX from network or from an external hard drive. It might be the same on the iPhone
- acdha 9y agoThunderbolt could allow direct memory access which would be really useful for low-level debugging early in the boot process before higher-level tools are available.
