- DoreenMichele 9y agoIt gets worse: many are essentially wanted for being the wrong skin color. A lot of laws disproportionately impact people of color. AKA systemic racism. Downvoting it doesn't make it not true. - paulie_a 9y agoThe owner will, if they would like the car to be legal to drive with updated license plates. It is a minor but important distinction. I can't speak directly that no states in the US operate differently. but as far as I know, you don't become a wanted person for parking tickets.
