- hueving 9y agoThe implication is that since they can only count to 3 they think it's safe to enter after 3 of the 4 leave. This allows the remaining one to shoot at the baboons.
- herodotus 9y agoNo, it is supposedly the technique that was used by farmers in the Transvaal to discourage baboon packs from raiding their corn fields. The baboons apparently could not distinguish between groups of 3 and 4 people, so they did not realize that someone was waiting to ambush them in the field. Sorry for the bad joke. I should have left that out.
