I don't know a single person in Vietnam who uses Snapchat. Every person I've ever met uses Instagram. Everyone uses Facebook. Facebook Messenger is the most popular chat tool by a fair margin. No one ever sends a message by Snap or SMS.
We have a population of 100 million.
The world is bigger than just the US.
Indonesia, with a population of 260 million, also overwhelmingly prefers Facebook over Snapchat.

- ddorian43 9y agoMy response was: who gives a shit when people in Cambodia don't use your app ? Meaning they're less valuable. But now that I think a little more, maybe we're starting to see a shift of say, tobacco + fast-food etc moving into poorer countries to extract $$ from them. So this mobile-game-social-addiction is the next/current step.
