I have a 1st generation iPod Touch, still working as music player in an old JBL dock. It's just for that, and that is enough for me. An old iPad like the one described here is nothing more or less than an old laptop that's getting too slow. So what has changed? Nothing much except excellent quality hardware. That hardware can still be used by the way, to display videos, play (old) games. Great toys for little kids?
