My first-gen iPad Pro, the big one from 2015 or '16, is getting really slow, particularly with Safari, and it gets all the updates. Having some trouble understanding what's going on here.
- tomc1985 9y agoYour first-gen iPad Pro is still new compared to what this dude is packing. There's an iPad from 2012 sitting on my desk that stopped receiving updates and, for getting any kind of work done, the thing is useless.
- abakker 9y agoGet the battery tested/replaced?
- macintux 9y agoAs someone else mentioned, check the battery. But I'd also suggest doing a clean install using iTunes; sometimes OS upgrades go subtly wrong, slowing things down, and resetting via the device itself is insufficient to get a truly clean install.
