As an undergrad, what's honestly needed is a variety of pace. I don't mind sprinting through a topic, but I can't do it for a whole class all semester. Students become complacent if you slow down permanently, but also fail to absorb information if you constantly push. Run the blitzkrieg, but give me a week every once in a while to catch up and consolidate the knowledge.
