Hypothetical: If a Tyrant rules a country why should the serfs expect anything?
- Roqrqw12 9y agoThe tyrant is hoping the serfs learn not to expect anything. It makes them easier to oppress without any pushback. Most people on this forum, I gather, are not naive. We know democracies fall short of their ideals. But democracies only improve, as shown by history, when citizens hold their leaders accountable. You should expect, and demand better. There are many ways you can be politically active and join others in pressing for change.
