I see your and other poster’s points. I suppose that I let morality and rationality mix in my assessment of Elsevier’s behavior, with predictably confusing results. Yes, it is rational to fight for so much money and power, even if it’s just for another quarter. The fact that I despise that behavior doesn’t change the rationale behind it. Thanks.
