I once worked at an independent hotel where they backed up their reservations nightly, by dragging and dropping the reservation application shortcut from the desktop to a zip drive. I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry when they asked for help retrieving the data after several reservations were lost. They kept pulling the shortcut back off the zip drive, but the data wouldn't come back. :) (I ended up examining the original corrupted data file, found a phone number that the owner recognized, and all was made right.)
