Yeah. My anecdote about this is that I've used completely fake info to register at least 1 domain name with an EU TLD with EU registrars that supposedly required residency or some physical presence in the associated countries, with no repercussions. At least regarding whois info, this new law seems consistent with actual usage patterns without enabling more harm.
