Then why don’t we make driving completely illegal? If you make an error at 70 mph you die and you will kill other innocent people. And it happens with a scarily high frequency today. Self driving cars are supposed to bring drastically down the number of car deaths, and I think this is a much more important goal than having an automatic lawn mower or a robot that unloads your dishwasher (seriously??).
