NIH study links cell phone radiation to cancer in male rats
- gus_massa 9y agoThe study is not conclusive, far away from conclusive, from the article > based on the designs of the existing studies, it is difficult to definitively conclude that these negative results clearly indicate that cell phone RFR is not carcinogenic. Moreover: > An interesting side note is that the radiation-exposed rodents of both types lived significantly longer than their control peers: 28 percent of the original control group survived the full 2 years, while about twice that amount (48-68 percent) survived in the exposed group. So apparently cell phone radiation may perhaps be good for you. (IANAAMD) They have male and female, they have rats and mice, they have many types of cancer (heart/lung/...(, they have 3 levels of radiation (0/3/6/9 W/Kg), they have two frequencies, ... They have too many variables (that is good for an initial experiment) but only an specific combination gives a small dangerous result. So this is something between p-hacking and bad press reporting. There is no interesting result here.
