If this is for deployment, why not just use debian slim?
- make3 9y agoI suspect, though I could be wrong, that the reason would be that some packages support Ubuntu specifically and not Debian, because of a larger consumer user base. An important example of this is the Nvidia CUDA toolkit, which supports Ubuntu and not Debian.
