We should compare this to having a random human driver drive, and see how often a third party would “take control”. Lord knows that if my dad were driving I would take control a lot more than a self driving car.
- mlinksva 9y agoYet your dad (likely, I'm guessing, but many like him anyway) has a license and can legally drive. I hope one thing that criticism of computer driver outcomes leads to is conclusion that lots of human drivers should not be entitled to drive, and kill >1m people/year worldwide.
