Considering that https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pytheas https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pytheas centuries earlier sailed far enough north to encounter drift ice, it doesn't seem crazy to think they could. OTOH it's harder to believe in regular voyages without more records.
